Nga Taonga O Ngaitakoto Trust operates under the provisions of two pivotal pieces of legislation, the Māori Fisheries Act 2004 and the Māori Commercial Aquacultural Claims Settlement Act 2004. These acts provide the legal framework necessary for us to effectively manage and govern aquacultural endeavors on behalf of Ngaitakoto.
